Can I hook up my ipad 10 to a BOSE sounddock II? I cannot get any sound, but it works with iphone6+
An iPad 10 has no such headphone port, you will need to purchase and try an Apple audio adapter to use with your sounddock.

Thanks...but, curious as I use headphones with this I Pad...I say it is an ipad 10 only because when I check which version I have in settings, it says 10.3.3
maybe it is not...
All I know is that I am using a cable with two male ends. One end fits into both my ipad and iphone. When I hook up to Bose, I get sound thru the phone; but no sound when I do the same with the ipad
You actually have an 11-year old, 2012, iPad 4th generation.
For iPad models with a Home button, do a simple hard reset/forced restart of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake/power button simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.

Not sure how you are using such an old Bose sounddock 2 with an iPhone 6?
That Bose sounddock uses the old Apple 30-pin dock connector that no iPhone 6 nor newer iPad models no longer have.
