I want to switch my iPhone 7 SIM card to my IPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 sim to the iPhone 7. Is this possible? Will doing this switch the telephone numbers?

Do note it will not switch any other data. Messages, calls and contacts for the respective numbers will remain in the iPhone they are in now.
Though new calls and messages will arrive to the new iPhone. If using different apple IDs, the numbers will be linked to the new Apple ID as well, and removed from the Apple ID on the old iPhone.
