EPS files not previewing in Ventura.
Hello, I have previously used the workaround on this posted by ginamacs No icon preview for eps-files in Ventura - Apple Community. However i notice now on 13.4.1 that i can no longer find the line "<string>com.adobe.illustrator.ai-image</string>" in order to add to it. Has anyone else got a new fix for this? I had it working fine last week and now the latest update has knocked it out again.....

Thanks, we use illustrator but we handle a lot of EPS files and it used to be mighty handy to just hover over one and see what it was before wasting time opening each one up which is the status quo now....Oh well...

I wasn't naive to your likely workflow need to visualize .eps files from the Finder or Quick Look. It takes a certain Apple end user and industry myopia to remove this capability.
You can send direct feedback to the macOS product team stressing how important the Finder and QuickLook functionality is in your industry. If you have hundreds or thousands of .eps, stress that and the productivity cost to your organization. If your business has an Apple Consultant or Sales representative, communicate this to them too.
See my previous post on how to view .eps/.ps files. If you read my response in the link you referenced, Apple removed that .plist in Ventura 13.2 and that is probably why you cannot find it in 13.4.1.
Restoring this .plist from Time Machine and re-editing it with every update to Ventura is just a PITA and I stopped doing so.

It does in Ventura 13.4.1, but apparently not in something else, in which case I suspect that Apple may have pulled the necessary underlying frameworks, and TeXShop won't be able to work with it either.
TeXShop uses a custom PDF viewer that is based on Apple's PDFKit, same as Skim. Both vendors add their own adaptations to compensate for Apple mayhem. On Ventura 13.4.1, TeXShop v5.12 does not show .eps images in its File Chooser but does open them in its PDF viewer.
And I can open and display .eps files on Monterey 12.6.7 (Core i7) with TeXShop 5.12 and Skim 1.6.16 as well. That latter converts them to Postscript before displaying them - but does not show that progress bar on my M2 mini Pro running Ventura 13.4.1. Perhaps too fast to see…
Hi Guys, thanks for all the suggestions. The last post i had from @jefferyfromchalliwack put me on to matthias who set up the eternal storms plugin. However this was from an old OS and no longer working. I emailed him and he has put me on to another app that DOES WORK. Does Skim still open .eps files in Ventura 13.4.1?
Skim and TeXShop can still both open .eps files.

Yes it does as it was in my link above.
I use TeXShop for it it was intended, TeX/LaTeX builds and Skim for when I need to look at .eps/.ps files.

You can download a quicklook eps file from this link. Or search 'eternal storm eps'. Worked for me
