Strange app

Just went on my phone to check for any new messages. There was no longer an app for “photos”. There was an unrequested new “app” that contains the icons for both “photos “ and for “messages”. Why has this happened and can it be reverted back?

It sounds as though your Photos app and Messages app have been placed inside a folder on your device. To place them back where you want them, simply follow the steps below:


  1. Place your finger on the app you wish to move
  2. Hold it there until the app starts to jiggle
  3. Drag it to the location you prefer.
