Purchase Beats Fit Pro from the Apple Store to use for both my Apple and Android products. Beats Firmware Update 5B66 will not update on my Samsung A71 phone. Update starts, but always get 'Update Failed. Try Again' screen. Anyone know what is going on? Beats Fit Pro pairs and work fine with iPad mini ....

Let's use the steps below to see if the firmware shows as being up to date when your Beats are paired with your iPad mini:
To use your iPhone or iPad to check that your Beats headphones or earphones are up to date, go to Settings > Bluetooth, then tap the Info buttonnext to the name of your Beats. Scroll down to the About section to find the firmware version.

If the latest firmware version isn't being reflected, you may need to charge your Beats while they are in Bluetooth range of your iPad mini, along with your iPad mini being connected to Wi-Fi:
Firmware updates are delivered automatically while your Beats headphones or earphones are charging and in Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac that's connected to Wi-Fi.

I ended up 'forgetting' Beats Fit Pro on ipad; update again via Android Beats app and it worked..although it was stuck on 'pending' for a bit but according to instructions could continue to use the ear buds while pending. Firmware now successfully updated. And re-paired with ipad. Firmware did not update over the air when connected to the ipad.
