Error message - too many devices

Hi, I am only watching apple tv from one device, but I keep getting error message saying

You are currently watching videos from Apple TV on too many devices.


I have logged out and signed back in

I have restarted computer

nothing else working


Windows, Windows 10

If you are confident that there are no other devices using the Apple TV app with your Apple ID account (or Family Sharing accounts), and you still get this error, then please contact the Apple Support staff. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/​email/​callback).

Apple TV+ can be streamed to up to 6 devices simultaneously per subscription. That includes other users in a Family Sharing setting, if that applies to your situation.

Download and stream shows, movies, and events from Apple TV+, MLS Season Pass, and Apple TV channels - Apple Support


Streams on other devices will have to drop to 5 or lower before you can stream on your device.
