I turn off my computer every night. When I power up again in the morning my saved wallpaper is gone and the default photo appears. How can I keep my chosen photo after reboot? Running Catalina 10.15.7

Quit SysPrefs& move this file to the Desktop for now, are you henceforth able to keep a setting?

Hallelujah! I see now that the computer couldn't find the photo since it wasn't in the photo library. Once I put it on the desktop I then dragged it into the library and voila, upon reboot there it is. Thank you so much!
