My gmail is telling me that I’m out of storage and can’t send/receive email. I have only used 420GB of 2 TB so why is this happening and how do I resolve?

My gmail is telling me that I’m out of storage and can’t send/receive email. I have only used 420GB of 2 TB iCloud storage so why is this happening and how do I resolve?

Hello,

It seems that you are out of local storage, not iCloud storage. See this:

About storage on your device and in iCloud

You should immediately work to free up local storage or you will have numerous other issues:

How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Note: deleted photos are not necessarily deleted from the phone.  You may have to go to Photos > Albums > Recently Deleted and delete them from there to truly free up storage.

Then restart your phone.
