iPhone (n) listed on car bluetooth. Why the number?

My iPhone connected to my Volvo reports as iPhone(4). Why?

Answer: Settings / General / About has a NAME field where this was (somehow) the added name (not intentionally by me). I changed it and expect to see it reflected in the car connection.

iPhone 13

When there is more than one phone with the same name in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Find My, iCloud backup, or other settings iOS adds an index to differentiate them. Solution: Give your phone a unique name.
