How to change language settings on Apple TV+ for "Drops of God"

For this title, the audio track named ‘English’ is used for the original audio: a combination of English, French, and Japanese. There is no track with just English dubs.

This is explained in the intro text at the start of each episode. Use subtitles for translations (where needed).

Original poster is not asking for a dubbed version. Just a version that translates the non English dialogue into English subtitles. What we are getting instead is captions as if we are deaf. Captions for background sounds, etc. which is great for those that need it, but distracting for the rest of us.

Well … “I just want to listen to it in English” can only reflect the audio track, though.

I know; these are valid complaints, imho. But a “foreign parts only” English subtitle option isn’t available at this time for current Apple TV+ shows. Please leave precise comments for Apple about what you like to see instead for such multi-lingual content. That is the best way to reach the team that makes such decisions. it’s a complete misrepresentation. It is presented that it is available with English voiceover and when you select “English” it’s not available. You have to select “English AD”’and have the English voiceover and scene description for those with visual challenges.
