I want to take a screenshot on my iPad, but I want it as a jpg file AND I want to change the size from the default largest.

Somewhere before version 17 you used to be able to take a screenshot open to edit and resave and it would save as jpg that seems to longer be the case. Apple doing apple things is using png

Save the picture to Files and it will be converted to a jpeg.
How to take an iPad screenshot in jpg format. I have already selected Most Compatible for format in Settings.
