I got my MacBook Air in the month of October 2021. everything was fine until the end of 2022 when I started noticing the Mac restarting a little later shutdown and it would also loose charge. and now whenever I use it its low on charge or dead .this has been going on for a long time and considering the fact that I don't use it much often , I really don't know why

please help me find a solution to my problem

A SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, font cache, etc., third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
