Learn what steps to take if you can't add a card to the Wallet app to use with Apple Pay.

Check that you're able to use Apple Pay:

• Contact your card issuer to see if they support Apple Pay.

If you need to change a Method of Payment, note that you need to add the new one first, and then delete the old one. This is because you need at least one Method of Payment assigned to your account.

To add a credit card to the Wallet app on your iPhone, follow these steps:

1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.

2. Tap the “+” sign in the upper right corner.

3. Tap “Continue” and then select “Debit or Credit Card.”

4. Tap “Next” on the Card Details screen.

5. You now have two options:

• Use your iPhone’s camera to capture the card information. Position your card in the frame to automatically read and input your credit card details.

• Or, manually input your card’s details by tapping “Enter Card Details Manually,” then follow the on-screen prompts to enter your card’s number, expiry date, and security code.

6. After your card’s information has been entered, tap “Next.”

7. Review and agree to the terms and conditions from your card issuer.

8. Finally, confirm the card’s billing information and tap “Next.”

9. You may be asked to verify your card. Choose a verification method from the options provided, then tap “Next.”

10. After verification, tap “Done.”

Please note, adding cards to the Wallet may vary slightly by country and by bank. If your card isn’t eligible, you might not see it in Wallet, or you might see a message to contact your bank or card issuer for more information.
