When doing a Fitness treadmill workout, no distance is recorded

Like the title says, when I do a treadmill workout, there are no distance recorded. What am I missing? I have an OVICX C100 treadmill.

To improve the accuracy of pace and distance for Indoor Walk, first accumulate at least 20 minutes of outdoor walking using the Workout app to calibrate your watch. For more info,. see the 'Walking' section in:
