As I use Office on a PC I have cloud storage in OneDrive. I want to backup my iPhone (not just photos) there rather than Apple's cloud. Surely this should be possible rather than paying for storage I don't need? How do I do it?

thats a bit of a bummer..! so icloud is the only option to save all iPhone files ? Dosent work with google drive either ?
You don't, OneDrive does not have the capability to backup your entire phone like iCloud does.

That's unfortunate for those of us who would not like to be locked into one particular system. I have however realised that I can backup to my PC instead and have done so. My next, more insignificant task, is to stop being told my iCloud is nearly full!
