'I just got an IPad for the first time. I tried connecting to IMessage but it continually wont connect. I’ve tried about 5 times but still no luck. A day before I had a different iPad (but we had to return it) and iMessage worked just fine. What do I need to do? I have an iPad 10th generation.

I am also hoping someone has solved this. I am having the same problem, for two days. I have tried everything suggestion I’ve found online except resetting iPad to factory settings. Nothing else is having trouble on the iPad, and iMessage is fine on my phone.
Hi. Thanks, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue. I’ll try to insert a screen shot of what it keeps telling me.Because of this I can’t sign into iMessage at all. Because of this I can’t log in.
Did anyone solve this issue for you ... or were you able to find a resolution for it? I'm experiencing the same thing with my iPad Pro (6th generation).
