Has anyone successfully downloaded files from a Fuji X-H2 to a Macbook without using Adobe Bridge?

I have attempted to download my RAF image files to my Macbook Pro (2023 M2) but the laptop won't even recognize the device when it's connected and powered on. I used to do this with my Mac Mini using Adobe Bridge, but that won't even work on the Macbook.

I attempted to follow Fujifilm instructions but they contradicted themselves and neither option worked.

I use Luminar, but the software doesn't recognize the device(camera) being attached.

I'd rather not carry and use a card reader for doing this while I'm traveling, that's why I'm asking.

Is the camera attached via USB cable, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth? Have you tried Apple's Image Capture application from the Applications folder. Image Capture User Guide for Mac - Apple Support

If it works, that would allow you to pull pictures from the camera and write them to a location of your choice — using the EXIF DateTimeOriginal as the Finder creation/modified date.

Hi GunnerSSR,

Based on what you've shared you've already taken great steps to isolate this issue. If Adobe Bridge previously worked on a Mac of yours we recommend ensuring your devices and software are up-to-date. Should the behavior persist we recommend contacting Fujifilm directly to review available options.

If you're unable to transfer photos directly you may need to rely on a card reader specific to your device.

Regards.
