Noise levels reading too low after salt water scuba

My Apple Watch noise levels are reading way too low after some scuba dives in Hawaii. Example: reads 50 dB at a night club band (actual 90-100 dB), and 40 dB in a busy airport.

Any idea how to fix this?

I’ve rebooted, and soaked it in room temp fresh water for a couple hours, with water lock clearing.

According to:

Identify your Apple Watch - Apple Support

A Model A2292 is a Apple Watch Series 6 (GPS) with a 44mm case. That model is not meant for scuba diving. See the 'Can I go scuba diving, swimming, or take a shower with my Apple Watch?' section in:

About Apple Watch water resistance - Apple Support

"Apple Watch Series 2 and later can be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean, but you shouldn't use models other than Apple Watch Ultra for diving, water skiing, or other activities involving submersion below shallow depth or high-velocity water."

You may have caused permanent damage that cannot be fixed. Your best option may be to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and let them look at it:
