Nand storage

How many nand storage is used in the new m2 MacBook Pro 14? Is it 1x512gb ssd storage or 2x256gb ssd?

A: just the right amount, and if any, it is soldered to the mainboard and the Mac system-on-a-chip provides it own proprietary controller.

what are you really trying to determine, and why is this minutia important?

I won't point to my source (just search the internet) but I've read (for the 512 GB base model) it's two 256 GB packages when it was four 128 GB packages in the 512 GB base model 14" M1 MBP. However, there's always the possibility of multiple board designs to deal with part availability issues.
