Why is there "Install macOS Ventura" after I upgraded my Mac?

So yesterday I upgraded my Mac from Monterey 12.1 to Ventura 13.4, and after the upgrade, there is this app in the Launchpad call "Install macOS Ventura" why is it there, I can delete it but why is it still there?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.4

The " Install Ventura " in Launchpad is a left over from the Original Installation


Yes it can be removed


First while in Launchpad >> Click on the Install Ventura.


It will do nothing


Now, HOLD the Option Key


Notice that Install Ventura should either shack or have a X in Top Left of the Install Ventura icon


Click the X - gone


Or, just Drag the Install Ventura icon to the Trash
