Showering and High Decibel Level on new Apple Watch 8

There seems to have been no Apple Engineering progress with Pedro_Austin's question a year-and-a-half ago regarding the mis-reads of noise levels "in water situations." My very first morning in the shower, wearing the Apple Watch Series 8 I purchased yesterday, and the watch alerted me that I was in 95 decibels of noise (the equivalent of a motorcycle, I understand). Has anyone figured out a work-around?
