Unable to add document to print job - Printing PDF

I've had this problem before on an older MacBook that I owned and I just started having the same issue on my new Macbook Pro M2.

When I attempt to print a PDF, either through the browser, preview, or Adobe PDF, the pages go to the printer queue, and at the end of the queue adding the pages, the message, "Unable to add document to print job" is displayed and the print job is deleted.

I have reset the printer system and reinstalled the printer several times to no avail.

When this happened a while ago I read there was an issue with Macs and PDFs but I don't recall the work around. I've worn Google and Bard out looking for the right answer. I've not been able to print this PDF that I really need on paper.

Anyone else remember this issue and the work around?

If you haven't already, you'll first want to check your printer manufacturers website to ensure that they don't have any updated drivers for you to install.

If not, or if the issue continues could you'll want to reach out to Apple Support to look in to this further.
