Repeating of reminders in my iPhone never work and hasn’t for as long as I can remember

So I set my reminder to repeat every month or year, whatever and when done in several seconds later the repeat “monthly” or whatever I set the reminder for disappeared and the reminder never does the repeat feature for me.

Have Ben trying this for a long time now and now matter what IOS version it has never worked for me.

Have tried both the default and custom methods but no luck!

ANYONE have a fix for this?
