The application "OneDrive" can't be opened.

OneDrive has suddenly stopped working on my iMac (running 10.14.6). When trying to start it from Spotlight Search, a window pops up containing the message 'The application "OneDrive" can't be opened.' When trying to start the app from the Applications folder, no message at all appears.

I couldn't work out why this was happening, so uninstalled the app, downloaded the latest version, and installed that. This worked fine initially while it was comparing what was already on my local drive with what was online - but the app then quit and behaved precisely as above.

I have tried running the executable itself (/Applications/OneDrive.app/Contents/MacOS/OneDrive) from the terminal. This produced the following:

dyld: Symbol not found: _OBJC_CLASS_$_NSSwitch

 Referenced from: /Applications/OneDrive.app/Contents/Frameworks/RNComponents.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/OneDriveReactNativeMac.framework/Versions/A/OneDriveReactNativeMac

 in /Applications/OneDrive.app/Contents/Frameworks/RNComponents.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/OneDriveReactNativeMac.framework/Versions/A/OneDriveReactNativeMac

Abort trap: 6

I don't know whether this explains the issue - but if anyone can provide any thoughts, I'd be very grateful. OneDrive is meant to be compatible with 10.14, even if 11.0+ is preferred.

Unfortunately, OneDrive has dropped support for macOS 10.14 (Mojave). They now recommend running macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later, but do currently support macOS 10.15 (Catalina). See OneDrive system requirements
