Apple Music ID different than Apple ID

My Apple Music ID is different than my Apple ID (from when Apple Music used to be iTunes) and now I cannot control settings on Apple Music on my iPhone.

can’t access my apple music profile from any of my devices i have an ipad, iphone 14 and mac, all three of them have my apple music account however i can’t access my profile from any of them, the only options that show up when i tap my profile are “account settings, notifications and gift redeem”, i have tried redownloading the app, signing out and it’s still not fixed

That’s normal. Use the same ID if you wish that functionality.
