How can I change scroll page to turning in page on ipad?

I just realized that I can’t make turning page on Books app on iPad, but I can do it on my iPhone. I tap the 2 lines and 3 dots at the right bottom, but it is not available for turning page option. Can somebody help me?

small thing, but makes reading a book uncomfortable

Do the devices have the latest iOS? Are you tapping on the "scroll" button in Theses & Setting (the third from right, directly to the right of AA)?
