MacBook Pro dropping network connection every few hours, requires reboot or waiting ~10min
Hi all,
I have a MacBook Pro, 16" 2021, M1 32GB on Ventura 13.3.1.
About 2-3 times per day, the MacBook will lose its ability to reach the network (both local network and internet).
Important points:
- This happens with both wired and WiFi connections.
- Other devices on the network are fine: only this Mac is affected.
The only things I can do to recover are:
- Wait about 5-15min, or
- Reboot
During the outages, I have tried the following with no luck:
- Switching WiFi networks, or switching between WiFi and wired.
- Disabling and re-enabling the network service in the Network Setting window.
- Restarting the network device with `sudo ifconfig en0 down && sudo ifconfig en0 up`
If anyone has any ideas or diagnostics I can run during the outages to understand what's going on, that'd be much appreciated! :)
