Hello, I am trying to reinstall High Sierra on my 2011 Macbook using Internet Recovery and it's showing me "The recovery server could not be contacted." I've tried setting the time with some command using the Terminal, still showing the same message. Does anyone know about this?

I pretty much did what all the posts say to do, including Terminal. I'm going for Catalina. No luck for several days. I'm about to try one of those "alternate" methods. Don't wanna, but what else works? My new iPhone won't let me back up to iTunes any more. Hoping Catalina will fix that.

What command? You may have entered an incorrect command.
What's "one of those alternate methods"? Is there another method to install macOS?
It's ntpdate.
