Each time I want any of my own apple devices to see my mobile hotspot, also an apple iPhone, i have to to turn hotspot off and back on on the iPhone. This is rather annoying. Is there a way to make the iPhone hotspot be visible all the time, without having to switch it off and on again?

Talk to your phone carrier hotspot is their feature.
I got multiple carriers, since I travel a lot, but it's all the same, no matter which SIM I use
