Not able to change my profile picture

Hi,

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and try to change its Lock Screen profile picture after logging in. It changed in the system settings but for the Lock Screen it's still the same.

I know its not a big deal but it just annoys me.

I hope you have a solution to this problem

Thank you for reading

Hello,

Your Apple ID profile picture is separate from your macOS user profile picture. You can learn how to change your macOS profile picture here: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/mac-help/mtusr002/mac.

Thanks for reaching out!

I have the same problem and tried the method that is suggested in the link and other methods that have been mentioned in other posts but without any success. Like the OP mentioned it is not a big deal but I'm always surprised that these simple things can be so difficult to solve.

Every time I start up my computer I see the pink flower in the startup screen from the "suggestions" (even though I have correctly set and saved my own image). I was wondering where this pink flower image is saved on my Macbook? Because replacing this image with my own image could finally fix this (in a weird work around kind of way).
