All of my notes just vanished overnight !

Hello everyone,

I have iphone 8+, 64GB and have been struggling with storage issues for quite some time now. I was unable to transfer my photos to my laptop in order to free space and my phone wasn't connecting to iTunes either. So for months I'm constantly deleting things to free some memory and idk how it keeps filling up all the time. I'm also still using ios 15.1. Yesterday I used my notes, then went to bed and today all of the notes were just gone and my memory was suddenly full up to 63.7GB. I have no idea what's going on with this phone, but I've tried everything I could find on google to restore my notes without success. They're not in iCloud either (all I could find there was a mix of 29 notes from 2021,2022 and 2023. Does anyone know if there's a solution to this or my notes are lost forever? Did the phone delete them by itself? I had tons of passwords and other important information there since I have trouble remembering things...

Seems a good idea to back-up everything asap for safe-keeping.

You might want to access old (or new) files from an external storage device, (eg: zip or hard drive). How to: Connect external storage devices to iPhone – Apple Support

Seems if necessary, an iPhone will make enough space in which to keep operating, generally by deleting temporary files, and items that can easily be restored. (Eg: If you use iCloud: Maybe your Notes are in the "Recently Deleted folder on iCloud.)
