cpu temperatures

hi there,

I have MacBook Pro 15 inch 2010. it is MacBook 6,2. it has dual core i5 cpu. but there is always diffrence of 10 or 15 degree in the cores one core would have 80 degree the other one would be 95 degree it doesn't matter I am using laptop or not . is that normal please let me know

I suggest you:

  1. Be sure air flow over the exterior and interior is not restricted
  2. Do what you can to blow the dust and such out of the air vents .. usually a careful application of canned air
  3. Don't use it on a soft surface
  4. Don't have any kind of cover attached

Keep in mind, your Mac is 13 years old and is considered obsolete by Apple. It's had good life and if it's working acceptable well keep using it until it finally dies.
