Bluetooth redial command: how to stop third party Bluetooth devices from redialing last number. SOLVED

For many years, people have been trying to figure out how to stop their iPhone from accidentally redialing last number from via a Bluetooth device, whether you accidentally long pressed or double clicked your Bluetooth device, it automatically redialed your last call, which can be annoying, specially if you can not disable that option. I have done Google search to no avail.

I have figured out a way, if you go to Settings, Bluetooth, select the Bluetooth device you would like to change the setting and go to Device type. Now here select “Other”, while in this setting the device will behave as intended however, this for me has resolved the issue of redialing family and friends at odd hours.

let me know if it works on your device.
