Phone numbers showing up in european format

For no reason at all today text messages are now coming to me in European formatting. I can’t respond to the text since it’s not formatted properly and it’s not associated with a contact any longer since the number is formatted wrong. I haven’t travelled out of the country or made any changes. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Can't write mobile phone in pick up order page Hi team, I'm living in Turkey bu I wan't to buy iPhone 14 Pro from Spain. Because of that I chosed "pick up order" and write the information about that (name, surname, mail, mobile phone etc.) But, our telephone numbers have 7 digit in my country Country calling code: +90 Format: (0xxx) xxx xxxx But spain, +34 [XX] [XXXXXXX]. Text issues after iOS 17 update Some of my #'s are in international, format, some are not. Those that were in my contacts before the upgrade are working fine, but when I attempted to enter a new contact, I kept getting invalid # error and the text woul not send. Tried 10 digits, 1-10 digits, +1 1-10 digits, +1 10 digits, tried from upper green bubble and from mid screen text area - all errors. Can anyone help?

try updating to 16.5 to resolve the issue.
