My phone keeps locking by itself, I held it in my hand and did nothing to it, and it was locked for 15 minutes. Also a friend of mine had to reset her phone because it kept saying it was wrong password, but it wasn’t. Any advice?

If you have it in a case, remove the case. If you have a screen protector on it, remove the screen protector. We need to eliminate those as possible causes.

Smart Lock fail
It could be the phone is losing location for the smart lock and locking itself. Or somehow you're accidentally tapping in the lock on the lock screen. I would start with removing the trusted place and adding it again to see if that helps.
