Just wanna add that if you've deleted text messages from two years ago on your iPhone 13, retrieving them can be a bit tricky. Generally, once you delete a message or conversation, it's gone for good unless you have a backup. If you have backed up your iPhone before the deletion, you might be able to restore the entire device from that backup, including the messages.

However, it's important to note that restoring from a backup means you'll be restoring everything from that backup, not just the messages. This includes your call history, health data, apps, photos, and more. So, if you don't have a current backup, restoring may result in the loss of any data created between the backup date and the current date.

Delete a message or conversation

When you delete a message or conversation, you can't get it back. So make sure that you save important information from your messages.

Though restore from backup is an option but you need to restore the entire iPhone (only messages option does not exists) including all messages, Call History, Health data, Apps, App Data, Photos, Videos, Voice Memos, Notes, email accounts on your iPhone etc. But...

Note: If backup date is X and the Current Date is Y then you will lose everything that was created between the two dates. In other words all data from date X up to Current date Y will be wiped out from your iPhone and you can get them only if if you have multiple backups.
