I have an iPhone 12 from a friend that was given to me a while ago and it won’t let me get into it the apple id because she had an activation lock on it and she doesn’t remember the password either, how can i get into this phone and use it?

Iphone Recovery My friend forgot his password to his phone so we had to factory reset it, but now there's an activation lock that's stopping him from getting back into it. He got it from one of his friends after he got a different phone but now we don't have access to the apple id or password. Is there any way around it to fully reset the iPhone.

She needs to reset her Apple ID password, then remove the device from her account at iCloud.com/find
