Not sure why Apple weather is so poor. It seems they often do not follow normal weather protocols such daily high temperature or low temperature. Often I get a low as of midnight and high as of noon which is not typical forecast norms. Overnight low should be through sunrise and daily high for entire day until sunset or really next sunrise.

I think some folks expect a weather application to report exact details for their explicit location and the weather data source might be miles (and different weather) away. Got tired of the Apple weather app, and chose another solution.

In the U.S., I visited weather.gov and entered my zip code. International users might find accuweather.com useful by entering their city name. That produced a page with weather reported by the local airport 5 miles distant. Then, in Safari 17, I selected File menu : Add to Dock… and I am one click from having what I consider accurate weather appear in Safari.
