Problem connecting to server 127.0.0.1

Since updating my MacBookPro to Ventura (just got my MBP back from AppleCare service, and they replaced my logic board, among other things, so I ended up with latest OS and had to restore my data from backup), whenever I use Brother iPrint&Scan to scan something, I get a dialog saying "There was a problem connecting to the server 127.0.0.1". I can dismiss the dialog by clicking the OK button, but the dialog reappears around a dozen times. I've updated all the Brother software (and even its firmware, not that that matters). After dismissing the dialog the last time, the scan completes successfully.

I'm scanning to my local disk.

Any suggestions? I have no idea why iPrint&Scan is looking to access a loopback-based server.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
