Apple Maps Guides Disappeared

I believe I've found a solution for this issue:

1. Uninstall the app from your iPhone.

2. Reinstall it.

3. Ensure to reconfigure your preferences, as reinstalling may reset your settings.

This method worked for me. Please let me know if it works for you too!

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I noticed they were all gone last year and looked up several solutions but didn't see this one until now. My All places is empty now, guess it was overwritten by newer icloud saves. Shame too I had a ton of places from all over the world saved from travelling.

Unfortunately, there is no resolution yet. There are many people having this issue, including myself. As far as we know, Apple is most likely aware of the situation, as many users have said they’ve reported the issue, and contacted Apple Support. I myself, just spoke to Apple Support yesterday, but was told I will have to speak to a senior advisor, so I’m waiting for an opportunity to do that.

I got all mine back, follow the steps:

1. Go to Maps
2. Click your profile
3. Click Guides > All Places > Edit > Select All > Add To > Create a New Guide folder

I was losing my $h1t over this so I hope this reaches a lot of people and resolve the issue!

This worked for me:

Open maps and click on your icon > Guides > All Places > Edit

Then select on the places you want to re-add > Add To…
