Constant static/white noise in the background of Logic Pro X

Self explanatory title. There is a constant static/white noise sound in the background of Logic Pro X no matter my input and output settings. At first I thought it was my mic picking up the Macbook fan but I've tried unplugging my mic and it's still there. I've tried changing the input to none, still there. Doesn't matter if I'm using the Macbook speakers, my external speakers, or my audio interface plus headphones, I still hear it. The louder I turn up the volume the louder the white noise is so I don't know if it's Logic itself or what but this **** is extremely annoying and I need it to go away now.

Does this persist when using a new, clean default project?

Does the sample rate correspond with your project and sound card (or device)? Switch back and forth.

Did you try to change the audio preferences? Press Apply after any change.

Make sure input monitoring (the "I" on the tracks) is disabled.
