Firmware update issue for beats fit pro for Android

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! If you restart the device, does the issue continue? Restarts can often help. To restart, press and hold power until you're prompted to turn off the device. Once it's off, press and hold power until it turns back on.

I have this exact issue, the Android Beats app downloaded the firmware to the buds and then a message appeared that you can continue to use the buds while they finish updating. A day later, it still is showing the same issue in the app with the Pending status and a big up arrow. I left the buds in the case, plugged into power, with case open, and next to phone all night. Still not fixed. ...

As others seem to have experienced, I got notification of a firmware update and followed directions. It got as far as "almost done". My Android phone screen turned off and when I turned it back on there was no sign of the updating process and when I open the app it says upload (up arrow) pending. How do I now complete the firmware update? Have restarted my phone and disconnected / reconnected my beats with no change.

Also I have no other devices that I can update from the App
