AirPod Notification Announcement
Although all my boxes are checked Siri isn’t reading my messages. It does the tone and then quiets my music but never reads the message. How do I fix it?

Let's check to ensure your AirPods and iPhone meet the minimum requirements. Taking a look at Announce notifications with Siri on AirPods or Beats,
"You can have Siri announce your incoming notifications with these headphones:
- AirPods Max
- AirPods (2nd generation) or later
- AirPods Pro (1st generation) or later
- Beats Fit Pro
- Powerbeats
- Powerbeats Pro
- Beats Solo Pro
Your compatible headphones need to be paired with one of these devices:
- iPhone with iOS 15 or later
- iPad with iPadOS 15 or later"
If everything is set up according to this guide, and your devices meet the minimum requirements, you may want to reset your AirPods, then try again.
