New files slow to appear in finder windows.
After a recent upgrade to Ventura, the finder has developed a new behavior where newly-created files do not immediately appear in finder windows. It takes roughly 10-15 seconds from opening the finder window before recently-created files will appear, while older files are present immediately.
I've specifically noted the behavior in the following situation, which is a major part of my day-to-day work on my mac: I will export a file from an application (often a .PDF), generally Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. I will proceed to Gmail via my browser (I use Arc, but Chrome also replicates this behavior), click the attachment button, and navigate to the folder. I then have to wait 10-15 seconds for the new file to appear, before I can select and upload it.
This behavior is consistent, and often happens even with files that have displayed this delayed behavior in previous upload attempts. Sometimes I will navigate to the folder and wait the 10 seconds, and multiple recently-created files from the past hour or more will belatedly appear.
