DELETE KEY NOT WORKING

how do i fix this?

I found the solution....

Please go to system settings > Keyboard > drag the slider left to right on Key repeat rate and delay unit repeat.

MacBook Air, macOS 13.3

It worked! But annoying that it's so random and not intuitive fix.
