Behringer UMC22 on Garageband

I have a problem recording my guitars through a Behringer UMC22 on Garageband. I am on a iMac using Catalina 10.15.7 but I have tried other OS and it has made no difference. I have tried all the settings possible with no results. the Behringer does work in Audacity. So I'm stuck

UMC404HD Audio Interface - Macbook 16 OS13.4 I have just purchased a Behringer UMC404HD audio interface. The manufacturer confirmed that it works with Mac OS, but when it is connected to my Macbook while it does register the device, it is only working with one input channel and not the four the device offers. I have tested the device on a Windows system. and it performs exactly as its supposed to showing all four channels as available inputs. Specifically in OBS. In Windows OBS sees all four input channels as available, where in OBS on the Macbook it just shows up as the device with no options for channels. I am using my Macbook for all of my audio capture and editing so I would prefer not to have to revert to Windows just so I can use this piece of kit.See attached image for how the device is showing up. Any suggestions?

Low/Bad audio from guitar though USB interface in GarageBand In GarageBand my guitar coming from a usb audio interface is very low (can barely hear it) and sounds like it's clipping or distored when I play hard and I'm monitoring the signal, but I can still barely hear it. If I record it sounds the same. -All the volumes are up and I've tested at multiple levels. -I've tried different outputs and they all sound the same -I've tried 2 different USB audio interfaces (M-Audio 192|8 and Behringer Xenyx Q1202USB) and the both do the same. -I've tried it in Audacity I can record fine. It sounds like it should, but Audacity won't let me monitor as I play that I can find, which is my goal. It seems as if my new Mac mini has the appropriate drivers installed since it works in audacity. Is there something in GarageBand that could be causing this that y'all know about? Thanks! BassBikerND

I have MacBook Air M2 I want to connect my electric guitar to use GarageBand I have MacBook Air M2 I want to connect my electric guitar to use GarageBand but I dont know if the irig2 compatible with my computer also do you have other reccomendations to connect my guitar.
