Watch unpaired and will not update.

I have an iPhone 13 and Apple Watch 4.I could not get my watch to update so I unpaired it. I still cannot get the watch to get past the update.

Software Update for an Apple Watch Series 3 I am attempting to update my Apple Watch Series 3 using an iPhone 11 plus. I have unpaired the watch from the phone but it will not complete the update the software update when I try to pair the watch. Am I missing something?
