edit sidebar of finder does not work

I just uninstalled node.js from my macbookPro and it has somehow scrambled the finder sidebar. See attached screenshot. The missing items are iCloud (not ICloudDrive), Applications, Photos, Pictures, and a folder which is my name (under favourites), which I would appeciate your scrubbing before publication. I have tried following the net advice without luck. Can you help?

I have finally figured this out after wasting so much time. You just don't know the secret handshake. You merely click on the > to the right of favorites. You don't see one? You won't until you do a mouseover.

You should have learned this in the class, "What are the important things to know about my mac which are completely hidden from me?" class. Designers think it is so cool to hide features. I couldn't figure how to open a car door last week.
