phone icon at bottom bar of iphone 14 disappeared, how do I get it back?

The Phone app is not one of the apps that can be deleted but it can be removed from the home screen. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the Home Screen and then to the Dock at the bottom of the Home Screen.

Also note the Search window at the top of the App Library.

My phone icon on my iPhone 14 disappeared from my bottom dock. It is appearing on my Home Screen. When I try to move it back to my dock it only creates a duplicate.

how can I get my phone icon onto my dock but not showing on home screen?
