Update 16.4.1(a) broke bass!

I have a pair of AKGs K553 MkII with 50mm drivers, they can produce very low bass. I am using them over quality Bluetooth device and iPhone 14 Plus. After the said update, the very low bass sounds distorted, which is very obvious on higher volume. Using Apple Music and Lossless. To make sure there was nothing wrong with headphones I tested them with my Macbook Pro M2 and on much higher volume, no problem at all.

Please undo what you did seeing I cannot revert.

What I tried: Restarted iPhone, unpaired and paired back, tried different compression in addition to lossless, no effect.

EDIT: Paired my Macbook to the same device, no problem, so the fault is definitely software related and connected with the said update.
